▎演讲主题：数字化建筑环境：从信息建模到信息管理

Digitizing the Built Environment: From Information Modeling to Information Management▎ABSTRACT：The time has come to expand the definition and scope of BIM from Building Information Modeling to Building Information and Management. “Old” BIM will continue to thrive and to serve the needs of virtual design and construction (VDC). However, the “new” BIM will extend far beyond VDC. Rather than model databases about buildings, this new BIM will support cognizant (self-aware) and sentient (thinking) buildings and cities that become physically embedded databases of themselves. Buildings and spaces in the new BIM also will include embedded digital interfaces for intuitive human interaction with building performance, occupancy, usage patterns and total life cycle sustainability.
