教授级高级建筑师，国家一级注册建筑师，1953年11月13日生于北京。1982年1月毕业于同济大学建筑系建筑学专业， 工学学士。中国建筑设计研究院（集团）副总建筑师，中国建筑标准设计研究院总建筑师，中国建筑学会建筑师分会医院建筑专业委员会委员，全国工程建设标准设计专家委员会委员，中国医院协会医院建筑系统研究分会委员，全国注册建筑师管理委员会成员，香港建筑师学会会员，中国建筑设计研究院硕士生导师。专业特长：建筑设计、室内设计、国家工程标准编制，国家建筑设计标准图集编制。
2006年获建设部华夏建设科学技术奖二等奖，2007年获北京市第十三届优秀工程设计一等奖一项、二等奖一项、三等奖三项，2008年获全国优秀工程设计三等奖一项、全国优秀工程标准设计二等奖二项，2009年获全国优秀工程设计三等奖一项、全国优秀工程标准设计三等奖二项，2011年获全国优秀工程标准设计二等奖二项、三等奖一项。

of the National Project Construction,committee member of The Hospital Building Systems Research Branch of Chinese Hospital Association,and the Management Committee of the National Registered Architect,The Hong Kong Institute of Architects,and master tutor of China Architecture Design and Research Group as well. He was born in Beijing on November 13th,1953,and graduated from Tongji .University getting a bachelor degree of engineering in 1982.With nearly 40 years working on architecture designing,Gu Jun has developed his specialties on designing architectures,inner designing,drawing up national engineering standards and national standards for architectural design atlas.Many prizes and resaults are granted.
建筑师挺像裁缝，要选用各种布料给客户裁剪、缝制合身、漂亮的衣服。但建筑师又没有裁缝单打独斗的本事，因为建筑是多专业共同合作的成果，同时由于投资大，工程技术复杂，建筑师还要承担重大的社会责任及法律责任。因此在我看来建筑设计与其说是创造“空间的艺术”，不如说是“妥协的艺术”，我们要与领导“妥协”，要与开发商“妥协”，要与各种设计标准、规范“妥协”，要与结构、设备、电气工程师们“妥协”，甚至要与施工者“妥协”。但妥协不是无原则的，如果我们学会在坚守对美好不断追求的原则下的妥协，才能称之为“妥协的艺术”，才能在种种限制中游刃有余的驰骋创作的灵感。我的经验告诉我其实在每次优雅或痛苦的“妥协”之后，多能发现或是知识、或是经验、或是设计功力都有不同程度的收获、长进。
If we describe tailor’s work as selecting differentkinds of cloth to taior ,and sew customers fitting and beautiful clothes,architects’work si similar to this.However,architects lack the ability of completing all these tasks all alone,because architecture is an achievement by many specialties working together,cooperating with each other,and due to the huge investment,complicated engineering technique,architects also carries a heavy social and legal liability.From this point,I think,rather than creating the “art of space”,design-ing architectures is more like the “art of compromise” We need to compromise with our chieves,with investors,all kinds of design standards,the engineers of construction,facility and electricity,even with the workers.But this compromise is never without principles.Only when we compromise along the principle of insisting on the pursuit of good things,it could be called the “art of compromise”,and we can gallop inspiration getting over various restrictions.My exprience shows me that,the gaining and growing of our knowledge or exprience come,flowing every time of these elegant or painful “compromise”.
大同医院
大同是我国历史文化名城之一，传统的院落构成了城市空间的主体。本方案在规划布局上,体现着中国传统院落空间的神韵,层层递进,秩序严谨,空间序列严整.院落和建筑相互交融,形成了有机的医院建筑群落。
采用“生命之树”的设计理念来诠释整体建筑，符合医院“救死扶伤，治病救人”的宗旨。树经过千万年地下的沉积变成煤，为人类提供能量，而大同则以煤闻名全国。树的自然生成及机理与医院平面布局有很好的类型学关系。
Datong hospital office building programs
Using the desigh concept of “tree of life”to expound the entire complex is in
accordance with the hospital’s purpose of “Heal the sick, saving lives”.By the evolution under the ground,trees turned into coal,then serve peaple with heating,and Datong is famous for its coal mineral.The mechanism of tree’s natural growing have a fine typology relation with the hospital complex’s plan disposition.
中纪委办公楼
中纪委办公楼造型力图将北京地域特色和时代气息相结合，并反映中纪委办公楼建筑特定功能要求的内在气质。形象简介、庄重、以简洁的立方体为基础进行减法切割，冠部和东西阳台内凹，一二层设大面积玻璃，形成强烈虚实对比。采用灰色石材表面，减少玻璃面。整体比例和细部处理力图体现传统建筑的精髓。
Central Commission for Discipline Inspection
The modeling of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Central Committee of the CPC office buliding tries to combine the reginal characteristics of Beijing with the spirit of times,while reflecting the inner temperament of the commission's specific functional requirements. The image is simple and solemn,reflects masculinity and corruption perceptions.
With concise cube basis by subtraction of cutting,its' canopy inside concaves the west and east balcony.There's large area of glass at the first and second floor,forming a strong contrast toactual situation.The using of gray stone material surface,reducts the glass surface.
The proportion of the entirety and the treatment of the detail tells the essence of traditional architecture.

中纪委监察学院
中纪委监察学院考虑到学院规划和办公楼的功能属性，在规划层面上，布局有一个明显的轴线在控制，但并不严格对称。
建筑组群的外观整体上保持了国内政府建筑的大方与端庄，并安置了一个象征性的屋顶形式。无论是立面墙的划分还是玻璃窗的形式都让人想起中国古典建筑与装饰的特性，内庭空间被塑造的美轮美奂。
School of the Central Commission for Discipline
Considering the character of the campus planning and office’s function,at the point of planning,the disposition is controled by an obvious axis,but not in a rigorous symmetry.
The complex keep a decorous exterior as most domestic government buildings have done,and a symbolic roof form is placed.Both the dividing of the elevation wall, and the form of window glass recall viewers of the features of Chineses classical architecture and ornament,with the atrium space shaped beautiful.
