个人建筑理论、设计创新、创作心得：

充分珍惜和使用资源，敬重每一个人的权利和尊严，在一个严谨和适宜的技术框架中，进行符合专业准则的空间营造，创造具有独特风格的本土现代建筑，传承中华建筑文脉。

Ethos:

The office believes in the efficient use of resources and respects the rights and dignity of every individual. Under an appropriate and rigorous framework, a kind of contemporary regional architecture with unique identity is created in accordance with professionalism, while this type of architecture continues to respect the Chinese architectural context and history.

个性化点评：

汤桦从业的态度，更多的来自中国工匠的品德，他显然厌恶那些“文人建筑师”的夸夸其谈，也认为建筑其实没有那么高深。他的设计也反映出持续的朴素，贝森集团总部是这一设计的代表作品，应该说它凝聚了汤桦对20世纪最重要的几位建筑家之一路易斯·康的尊重。

但是汤桦作品越来越显示出朴素的品质，他所持的反装饰态度，认同材料、结构及技术表现贯穿于设计之中，以及更为被我们接受的建筑尺度，是促使我写出这篇评论的动机。

Comments

Tang Hua’s attitude is much more from the virtue of the Chinese artisans. Evidently he disapproves the rhetoric of “literati architects’. He believes that architecture is not abstruse. His designs have also demonstrated a kind of continuous simplicity. The Basis Headquarter is representative of such designs. It should be understood that this project has demonstrated Tang Hua’s respect towards Louis Kahn, one of the most important architectural figures in the 20th century.
