SHANGHAI Resident Site Designer/ Coordinator (Mainland China) Responsibilities: · To act as architect’s/ designer’s site representative to coordinate and supervise construction works and to resolve technical / design issues to ensure smooth construction progress and quality of works. · Generally oversee fit-out construction process and resolve site problems in consultation with Client, Project Architect and our own Project team · Coordinate with consultants and contractors for the design implementation and resolution of technical issues at site level · Work as a team to ensure timely completion and achieve quality design / construction · Work jointly with Client, Project Architect, Project team to manage design changes, design documentation and issuance of site instructions and project administration Requirements: · Degree in Architecture or Interior Design · Minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience with at least 3 to 4 years on site · Previous experience working as a resident architect/ Interior Designer is an advantage · Previous experience working in a retail project is preferred but not essential · Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese is essential Attractive remuneration packages and flexible working conditions will be offered to successful applicants.
