作为一个具有探索和研究精神的事务所，///byn致力于开发新的设计概念、学术理论和设计基础技术，并与众多世界著名建筑师进行过广泛交流与合作。起初，事务所建立的初衷既是通过这个交流平台在全球的“游动”（或者可以说是“游牧”）方式，以获取更为开阔和广泛发展的可能性。2004年至2008年的这段时间，事务所由巴塞罗那迁至纽约；在2008年5月，事务所迁至上海。2009年5月上海，///byn作为开业建筑事务所正式成立了办事机构。

///byn在注重专业实践的同时，也积极在世界许多知名大学进行学术知识交流。两位合伙人现为上海同济大学和伦敦Architectural Association的客座教授。此前，他们在巴塞罗那ETSAB大学、纽约Columbia and Pratt大学、费城宾夕法尼亚大学和北京清华大学曾任客座教授。

///byn was created in 2002 in Barcelona by the Architects Bittor SANCHEZ-MONASTERIO and Nicolás SALTO DEL GIORGIO.
///byn became an investigation office, interested in new conceptual research, academics, and technology based design, while B&N were still collaborating with world renown architects. From the beginning it was understood as a nomadic platform that should be flexible enough to travel around the globe. From 2004 till 2008, the practice moved to New York,
and in May 2008 it moved to its current base in Shanghai. Since May 2009, ///byn is a full time working office.

Accompanying this reality oriented professional practice ///byn is always teaching in the most renowned universities around the world. Two principles are currently Associate Professor both at Tongji University and Honk Kong University as well as Visiting Professor at London Architectural Association. They have taught as well at ETSAB in Barcelona, Columbia and Pratt in New York, Upenn in Philadelphia and Tsinghua in Beijing.

PROJECT ARCHITECT [PA]
Tasks of Work:
Work with Chief Architects to fulfill projects
Coordinate with LDI (Local Design Institute) to develop projects from conception to construction administration
Relationship with clients and consultants
Verification of Chinese Building Codes throughout all the office projects
Professional skills:
Over 5 years’ experience in Architecture Design (international experience appreciated)
Proficient in CAD and advanced 3D modeling (Rhino)
Experience in Construction Drawing Set
Strong Responsibility & Team Working Spirit
Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills
Languages: Mandarin and English, both written and spoken

ARCHITECT INTERN [AI]
Tasks of Work:
Work with Project Architect to fulfill projects
3D modeling
Physical modeling
Presentation material
Professional skills:
Architecture studies
Proficient in Design Skills (from concept to detailing)
Strong Responsibility & Team Working Spirit
Proficient in CAD and Adobe Suite
Proficient in 3D modeling and Rendering (3DMax. Rhino, Grasshopper, VRay) (Scripting is a plus)
Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills
Languages: Mandarin and English, both written and spoken
Minimum contract 6 months
